37- Fourth – Auditory Sense
Its effect is hearing, and its external tools are the ears. If the place for this sense in the brain is deteriorated or damaged, the auditory sense will diminish, and the person will not hear sounds. As scientists have discovered, human ears can only hear certain sounds and are incapable of hearing sounds with very low frequencies or very high frequencies.
They have also discovered human ears are incapable of receiving tones with vibrations less than 30 times per second or more than twenty thousand. Therefore, we cannot hear low-frequency sounds, such as ants' sounds, or high-frequency sounds such as the earth's rotation. The biologists have already found the reasoning behind this concept, and further discussion about it is unnecessary.
