86- The Connection between the Spirit and the Air

The Mechanism Of The Creation
If you doubt that the air is also the physical body's food, I respond: doesn't the air go into a dead body? Are the entryways to receive air not open in a dead person?

There are elements necessary for the body, and if they do not reach the body, the body will deteriorate and decay. Some examples of such substances include water, bread, vitamins, and other sorts of visible foods. Moreover, the spirit has apparent, definite, and undeniable effects and the signs that we see.
These substances are in the air, and, just as we mentioned earlier, if the air is cut off, the spirit cannot remain inside the body. This notion is a fundamental principle. Some people regard the spirit as the ethereal life, ethereal spirit, ethereal and weightless element, or similar names.
Calling the spirit as a weightless matter stemmed from the fact that they were unsuccessful in recognizing its true notion.
In any case, the principles are the same. Just as the body has necessities, so does the spirit. We find the truth by considering the existence of such necessities. In other words, we find the truth about the spirit through its requirements.
