87- Contemplate on This Notion
If the body does not nourish with food and water, it will perish. Similarly, if the air does not reach the body, the spirit will separate from it. With this principle, we discover the existence of the spirit and see it.
If you argue that the air is food for the body, we will say: "doesn't the air also go into a dead body?" Are the entryways to receive air not open in a dead person?
So why is a dead body unable to use it?
We certainly do not want to argue and insist on what we should call it. These names are all one, and there are no differences amongst them; as we see, some people have called it the ethereal and weightless element. Whatever they call it, it makes no difference in the fundamental essence of the notion.
