The term “expansion” here is wrong and meaningless.
The expansion means something that grows in a place that is outside itself. However, there are no other places in the universe except itself, and everything is within it. There exists no other place that an object can “expand” there. Besides, nothing in it increases or decreases. Whatever there is, has always been and will always be.
