The New Universal Unity and a Brief Overview of its Objectives and Ideologies
Unity's most fundamental ideology is, in fact, alliance and Unity of religions, which is expressed in the booklet "beneficial propositions." It is unnecessary to repeat it here, and our dear readers can understand the concept with proper contemplation.
The purpose of Unity is for intellectuals from all religions and ethics to join hands in Unity and strive toward a united understanding of theism and the common principles in all religions. We ask that they advertise theism with the help of the best teachings of religions and the latest scientific phenomena understandable and acceptable to everyone, especially scientists.
We respect all heavenly religions and recognize all their followers as our brothers and sisters. We hope once Unity, unanimity, collaboration, consultation, and synchronization are established in common principles, with theism as an essential principle, philosophers, elders, and scholars of all religions refer to all religions' holy books in seminars and conferences and meetings. We ask that they do this through research and investigation entwined with the principles of impartiality and adherence to the rules of wisdom and knowledge, rejecting ignorant fanaticism, and obtaining the best verities to present to people using wisdom and intellect.
"The New Universal Unity" attempts to offer people principles of theism according to the latest phenomena of science and knowledge. Publications offered to this day on this objective by the pioneers of Unity in books, magazines, or articles clearly reveal our steadfastness regarding this holy intention. If God is willing, we hope that we can offer many more exciting and brilliant discussions in tune with the tremendous discoveries of science and knowledge.
The New Universal Unity strives to show the Unity throughout the universe with natural solid proofs, all agreeable to intellect and science. It demonstrates and perfectly proves that humankind, with the natural worlds around him, fellow humans, animals, plants, and earthly beings, is inseparably connected and united and has an inseparable connection to all planets' hierarchies, galaxies, and nebulas.
“Unity” demonstrates that death is nothing but a spiritual promotion. The elements forming the essence of the universe and the forces that provide life in elements are in constant transformation to one another throughout the never-ending life of the universe and form to various beings. After performing their responsibilities, they emerge in different forms. Through this manner, the constituent substances and elements of objects in the universe emerge as different beings continuously in an infinite time, where beginning and end are incomprehensible and exhibit various manifestations.
Spirit, which is one united order of God and is of God, is the force that moves objects of the universe that work with every object according to their organizational structure. Even though objects are formed by spirit, body, and perispirit, these classifications are our obligations for clarity; in essence, their verity is one. In the past, scholars and wise men of the old days considered the face and the essence of elements and the form and substances and their spiritual promotions, separate they are all one force and one verity. However, they have manifested in different forms due to their responsibilities and, therefore, attained different names.
In financial affairs, which are the fundamental pillars of human societies, Unity has explicit guidance, and following them creates peace of mind and order in families. According to the same structure, order in societies and nations will be established.
On the notion of destiny, Unity believes that a single scheme is utilized for the infinite universe. Consider an orderly system in a large factory; all parts of the universe, including the planet Earth and its inhabitants, which are a tiny part of the universe, are forced to follow the universal scheme. Otherwise, maintaining order in the universe is impossible. Firm chains and bonds connect the infinite universe; an individual's rogue behavior and individualism will harm the entire universe.
Therefore, destiny is not a strange notion; it defines a scheme carried out in the universe by the forces that govern it. Destiny is not against endeavor because fate will not occur if humankind does not endeavor. The force that drives humans to endeavor is uncertainty about the future; because one is unaware of his future, he must endeavor. The part of his endeavors that agree with the scheme destiny will come to reality, and those that do not, will not. This notion is why some human actions yield success, and others do not, or even some prayers are answered while others remain unanswered.
Despite the notion of destiny, guidance, given at the highest levels from the Prophets to the council, advise individuals and is still necessary. The Prophets and the council preach the guiding words, but its effectiveness depends on one's destiny. Those destined to be guided will be guided, but those destined to remain ignorant will not accept the guidance. If the guide does not give advice, the destiny of guidance will remain inactive.
Unity proves that every individual is born with a specific mental mechanism that determines his mental status, his occupation, and responsibility in the world. The order of distribution of responsibilities in society is by this force of destiny that is not in humankind's control. Later, the environment and unforeseen incidents assist in the completion of this fate. We name these incidents destiny and fate, and destiny and the mental mechanism create the creation's universal plan.
On the notion of the existence of some apparent darkness and catastrophes and criminal activities, Unity believes that since there is no force other than the unparalleled force of God in the universe, the world needs to change its point of view about considering such affairs as negative and foul.
On personal morals and virtues, Unity believes that ultimately humankind, with firm logic and clear scientific reasons, realizes that they are not separate from other humankind and beings. When that happens, their approach towards their fellow human will be with humanity, affection, kindness, patience, forgiveness, and devotion. They will consider other's profits as their benefit and the loss of others as their loss. They will pay particular attention to being kind and well-behaved and treat and assist animals with kindness.
Regarding retribution and punishment, Unity believes that a foul deed is punished in this world as well in the form of "personal revenge," which is the natural reaction to such deeds. Besides, the perispirit, which is one of the three forces of humans (physical body, perispirit, and spirit), shows (like a projector) all deeds and actions of the human, which is recorded like a movie, after spiritual promotion (death). This way, the individual either receives a harsh punishment or a valuable remuneration for those deeds.
There are many other issues in the realm of wisdom and creation and science, where Unity has concise and decisive, and comprehensive remarks on all aspects of them. In life's affairs, including finance, marriage, sexual relationships, good behavior in governing societies, personal and social responsibilities and duties, and many more, Unity has clear, concise, and specific notions.
All the topics listed here briefly and many more notions that cannot present in this book should be addressed comprehensively for better understanding. In these brief words, we cannot prove verities that had been unknown and ambiguous for centuries to humankind, including essential issues such as "destiny and free will," "consume and be consumed," "creator and creation," "good and evil," and so on. We hope that notions published in other books and publications of Unity and those that will publish in the future, by God's will, be worthy and beneficial to all human beings so that no point of ambiguity remains in their comprehension. By translating these into other languages, every single human being can benefit abundantly from these verities.
Therefore, what we expect from our dear readers who have read these brief words is to be in contact with us, and to read our previous writings and words, and gaze upon books and publications that will be provided later with full attention and scrutiny. Hopefully, they will be entirely satisfied and content from this spending of time.
