Guidance and Destiny
his book contains concepts in the form of advice and exhortations to provide seekers with the right path. Some might argue that the very idea of guidance is the opposite of the ideas of fate and destiny. We have thoroughly explained this subject matter on pages 78, 85, 144, 214-216, and 236-238 of this book. If anyone encounters any problems, please refer to these pages.
We should also point out that advice and exhortation help us understand fate and destiny. If some conclude that because of the nature of fate and destiny, there is no point in advice and guidance, then those whose destinies are to pursue the path of righteousness and expediency through guidance will be deprived. The goal of all prophets, diviners, missionaries and others who are inspired to guide, has been to inform, not to impose opinion. As stated in the Quran: “So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller.” (Al-Ghashiyah, Verses 21 and 22). It is also noted elsewhere in the Holy Quran that: “Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom he wills. And he is the exalted in might, the wise.” (Ibrahim, Verse 4).
However, the nature of destiny becomes clear when one considers that those who are destined according to the God-given brain function and mechanism to accept these truths will do so. Furthermore, those whose destinies are to reject them will not accept the words of the speaker no matter the language, no matter the approach.
I am not saying you must accept this advice and these exhortations. However, I will thoroughly explain throughout this book why they are valuable. Anyone (according to their God-given destiny and composition) who assesses these words to be true will accept them.
