Mother’s Day

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One

Mother’s Day

I have heard so much of this Godly news
“Heaven awaits all mothers” is the “News”

Mothers across the world are full of kindness
To their children they are rays of brightness

She illuminates her infants like the rays of sunshine
As the sun embraces saplings to grow simply fine

Measure all mother’s kindness and tears she shed
From time in the cradle to a grown-up bed

She nurtured me with her love and affection
She raised me with her essence and protection

I was fed with my mother’s pure milk in full
For that blessing I am grateful

Her breast and milk so heavenly
Stream of milk, sweet nutritious goodness, so heavenly

That is how I fell in love with her perfection
I feel her angelic wings over my head with affection

She used to sing to me a lullaby plenty
To put me right to sleep swiftly

At the age of eight a time to play
My father passed away, left my innocent mother to pray

Mourning, wailing, crying could be heard
From the house we all shared

During these difficult and trying times
She stood strong in the face of sleepless nights and hard times

She embraced me with motherly love so much
Zarrin Taj1 soothed and caressed me with her golden touch

My father was such a treasure, and missed by all
That just mentioning his name could bring anguish and grief to all

Despite all hardships my mother did all she could
To raise me from child to adulthood

She was fueled by the love of her child day and night
She was not bothered by weakness or sleepless night after night

Even though she was captive of her worries for her child so much
She kept her lovely smile with that pure heart and golden touch

She whispered into my ear these priceless words
“God is Great”, ...
truly the best words

So that I could seek the right path
So, I could find God’s aftermath

Mother, I know you to be as pure as Zahra2
Your place in the afterlife is with God’s light, just like Zahra

Since you brought me to this world so pure and clean
I became illustrious, wise and famous and serene

Narration of the story was mother’s love foremost
The luminous rays of sunshine, a shining lamp post

A person with no love in his heart
Is a blind man from the start

I am the champion of the “mother’s love”
Bravo kindness, affection and love

Hear me out about the importance of “mother’s kindness”
That is so much better than all prophets with highness

I shall give you the gift of the Quran this day
Keep this, which is great for Mother’s Day

I am sixty going on seventy on earth
And my days were numbered since birth

Please forgive me mother from the bottom of your heart
In the name of the creator forgive me with your pure heart

I (HESHMAT3 ) kiss the ground you walk mother
I give my life to see your snow-white hair mother
