5.The Reason for Happiness
There is no higher joy for a human than being released from shackles and obscurities that prevent the light of truth. The darkness and veils that impose grave constraints on our flesh are like snakes lingering in hell, awaiting those who deserve the divine justice.
With the strength gained by comprehending the truth, our minds are released from the peril such snakes create. We are also liberated from all dissensions, contradictions, enmities, egoisms, and rivalries, preventing the creation of brotherhood, unity, and connection among human beings. With this new strength, we are guided towards unity and alliance and may stride confidently along the path of truth.
We find these blessings under the umbrella of modesty and humility and through eradicating all sense of ambition, rank, and earthly possessions and egotism. We are glad that there is none of the lust and craving of worldliness in our minds.
