Not only is it the manner of politeness to listen to someone while they are talking, but also, we should continue listening to them even though we may dislike or disagree with their point of view. We should let that person finish talking, and only then address the differences. This notion is a prerequisite of humanity and manners, and it is wrong to do otherwise. Those who interrupt others, and do not let the speaker finish talking, and may turn conversation into an argument, shouting match, and an altercation, are in the wrong.
