This manner of thankfulness is unfortunately dominant amongst people, and those who genuinely are thankful are rare in numbers. True thankfulness should be practical, not merely verbal. Verbal thankfulness is not only insufficient, but it is also mostly wrong. As the Holy Quran states: “A rare number of God’s servants are thankful.” This notion is arguably true, although many people do thank verbally or in many other forms, their spirit shouts “this is a lie, it is not true.”
