Sorrow and grief and grumpiness are contagious and create an environment of sadness and discomfort. We should train ourselves in a way that we do not lose our temper and control, even in calamities and events and disasters, and never give in to sadness and misery and never cease to be thankful for the blessings.

Being thankful is not limited to being verbal. What is the point of saying one is thankful when there are no actions to prove it? True thankfulness is when one endeavors in servicing others and thanking God in any capacity possible, such as doing good deeds, establishing charities, writing beneficial books, leading people towards the path of verity and theism, and guiding people in charitable acts and other good deeds.

It is upon everyone to keep an account of what services they have done every day, every week, every month, and every year. It should be in a way that whenever they see their service reciprocated and deem it notable, they become happy and thankful to have obtained such great success.

Here is where the human spirit and conscience become manifested. One will be happy and will sway for all his service to humanity, and this is how the right ascension of the spirit occurs
