Whenever someone reads Bustan and Gulistan of Saadi and obtains moral education and advice to employ for felicity in his life, it is like Saadi himself is alive and took his hand to serve him. Every time the books of Avicenna serve humanity directly or indirectly, it is as if he is alive and serving. Each time the world benefits from the teachings of Socrates and Plato, and the services of Pasteur and Edison and Einstein, it is like they are alive and are sprinkling light. The scientists that invented rockets, including von Braun and many pioneers before him, are, in fact, alive. Whenever one reads the delicate, concise, theistic, tender, and religion uniting poems of Bahaʾal-din al-Amili, Hatef Esfahani, Rumi, along with other philosophers and poets, they will see those great philosophers and servants of social standing alive and well before them.
