Whenever laboratories or hospitals use the results from the efforts and services of Edward Jenner (discoverer of smallpox), it seems as if he is alive, and his spirit is performing such services. What is life, after all? Life is a collection of existential effects and duties in the world. It is not merely eating, sleeping and spending life in a house. These are the ways and mediums of living; the real value of life is carrying out duties and serving.
Such leaders and grandees are continually serving the product of life without using those mediums and appliances necessary, and their service is continuously flowing. If this is not real life, then what is its name?
