Stubbornness and Fanaticism
Another flaw is stubbornness, which is no less harmful than fanaticism. Stubbornness results in regression and makes one incapable of accepting new knowledge. Think about it when an arrogant person hears a new truth that he has never heard or used in his life before, what happens? Because of this arrogance, egoism, fanaticism, and obstinacy on what he already knows, he will lock the doors to his thoughts and intellect on this new contemplation with hard bolts of ignorance, vanity and fanaticism. It is then apparent that he will deprive himself of its advantages.
