The Right Path
Those who carry out the principles of humanity and the principles established by God have chosen the right path. In carrying out deeds, hastiness is not admissible since it ruins the work, postpones results and creates obstacles along the path. The old saying that “haste makes waste” is a metaphor for the losses arising from hastiness. On the other hand, it is hard for a person to succeed when he is frail, negligent, indolent, irresponsible, and/or a procrastinator, and he will not succeed in his goal. The middle path between both states is the very notion of self-discipline, which is the right path and the path towards enlightenment. An individual who proceeds toward this goal is sure to find consistency and perseverance since he traverses toward his nature and destiny on the right path step-by-step, with achievement, and he is sure to find success in all affairs. Self-discipline is the method that immunizes humans from the flaws of frailty and harmful hastiness.
