Eliminating Disputes

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One War and peace
The face of war is dreadful wherever it is, and by whatever means it is. Here is a photo from the war in Vietnam, where innocent civilians have been murdered.

When facing disagreements and discontent, some people immediately resort to war and discord. This discord may be the only way they know how to solve a problem, and this method becomes their motto in handling small or large affairs. For instance, when undesirable words, criticism or objection of another comes heavy on them, they will lose their temper in an instant, and like brawlers, get ready to fight. They lunge towards their opposing party, spouting their position. They then descend to swearing, cursing and insulting words. They raise their voices, roar, scream, and their faces turn red; and when it is past a certain point, they move to action. Like two buffalos, they commence goring each other. They use their fists, and they kick, and they torment each other to the point of death.

Now enlarge this very notion a little bit: We see a group of people preparing for a battle/fight with a person or with a group of people. These groups are determined to advance their idea regardless of being right or wrong.
