What is War?

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One War and peace

Now think of the same notion again, but on a grander scale: make it a national affair. We see two nations or two countries that have prepared their forces, each aiming to destroy the other. They eradicate all blessings and all good, they take away lives, destroy well-being, pollute the clean air, and replace the serene environment with one of crisis, pressure, hardship and anxiety.

However, grace, wisdom, knowledge, and contemplation can eradicate this grave anxiety and worriment from the world through regarding the mighty, all-wise and the all-powerful God and by replacing negativity with thoughts of peace and serenity.

When a war expands to the global level, it reveals its most dreadful face. A reminder from World War I and World War II: each had tens of millions of people killed and millions left wounded.

So, we should realize that war is neither a solution for the problems nor a revealer of issues. It is not a facilitator of tasks, whether between two individuals or between two groups, two countries, or even two blocks of the world.
