The Need for Employment

The physical losses of unemployment are also severe. For one who is idle and unemployed, in addition to deprivation, they are unable to acquire blessings and advantages necessary for their body. Because of this deprivation, their body will become weak. Through unemployment and idleness, their body will corrode. Just like a bicycle that corrodes sitting idly in the corner of a warehouse. Like a car that does not start when left unused. A knife that is rusty when forgotten about in the corner of a kitchen. From stagnation and idleness emerge corrosion and decay. The bicycle will be smoother and better if it moves, and the car will work better if we drive it often, and the knife will become sharper and shinier if we use it.
One reason for sorrow and depression is unemployment, for it is like corrosion sitting on equipment, to the extent that they are no longer able to function and move. An active person has less time for sorrow and grief.
