Justifying the Wrongdoings
First, one should know that anyone who insults him and uses obscenities and any untruthful notions regarding him has done it out of ignorance and lack of information. Even if they may have hurt him or planned to hurt him may also be ignorant because one who is wise would never do such things. A wise man would never fight with a man who is ignorant, like a grown man who considers himself wise would never engage in a fight with a small child.
One should give the other person the benefit of the doubt that he may have made a mistake, and he should investigate his suspicion. Through his investigation, he may find that the motive of this person was merely a misunderstanding, not intentional.
One should look and engage with that person with kindness and consider him a member of this united body of society of humankind that he himself is a part of as well. In such a manner, he will forgive this person the same way a father forgives his negligent child. Of course, this phase comes when he ensures that he did not make any mistakes himself in his judgment. When we misjudge a person, it alters the way we perceive that individual.
