Forgetting the Wrongdoings

Finally, I point out a word to my dear children as a souvenir. If someone was unfair to you, forget it, and consider the same principle I pointed out elsewhere in this book: if someone carries out an unfair deed, it is because of his ineptitude and lack of information and ignorance. A person who considers himself wise, informed and knowledgeable should forgive the ignorant for his ignorance, just like an adult who would never seek vengeance against a child or a madman who has harmed him. This wise man considers his dignity nobler and would not retaliate against a child when he knows better than the child. A wise and open-minded person has the same point of view towards anyone who harms him and sees them as children or ignorant people who act according to their lack of knowledge. He strives to react against the unjust act with good deeds and kindness, just like people who guide children with kindness. Ponder upon this notion and see: These kinds of reactions towards the wrongdoings of others ensure serenity and peace in the world.
Is it not better to spend our time, force and energy on theism, decorum, ethics, and good deeds, instead of squandering energy in wrongdoings?
Do such acts from The New Universal Unity and its followers not possess great educational value?
If you consider these notions and act upon them, you will gain the capability and the worthiness to receive divine benevolence. You will get closer to God’s majestic, divine doorway.
