Spiritual Connection
The first notion: We will now analyze and clarify this issue. Some may believe that people have individual spirits, and each person has a separate spirit. As mentioned earlier1, the spirit is not a separate affair; instead, it is a divine affair and God’s order. The spirit is like a power that runs through all objects. Let us assume that the spirit is electricity. It is a general force and power; if it connects to a light bulb, it turns on, and if it connects to the radio, we can listen to it. If electricity connects to any other electrical appliances, they will work accordingly. Each object or appliance uses a different amount of electricity according to its construction purposes. Similarly, each creature uses the power of the spirit according to the physical mechanism designated by God. Humankind, birds, reptiles, insects, microbes, plants, and other beings and objects each use the power of spirit according to their capacity, body mechanism, and function.
