Loss of Others

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One Harming Others is Harming Yourself
An external observer can perceive very well that there are no detachments in the beings of the ocean, and all are, indeed, connected and joined.

As noted earlier, the spirit is one infinite, divine, flowing, and united being. Therefore, it is clear that when an individual commits any wrong deed, like theft, fraudulence, harming others, deception, deceit, or murder, it is as if he has received a spiritual loss because there exists a complete and unbreakable connection between all beings.

To some extent, this notion was apparent to some of the open-minded people of the past. Some examples: “one who digs a well for his brother will fall into it himself,” or “he who blows into the fire will have sparkles in his eyes.” We can see this through poems from the wise people, elders and other instances in other languages and literature. However, their sayings were like buds that were yet to sprout, and now they are fully flourished and clear.

So, a wise reader should remember to train his behavior in a way that if God forbid, he was thinking of any profit that would bring loss to another, he will consider the enormous losses and consequences of his actions.
Consider this advice so that we can be honorable and prosperous in the path of God.
