Acquiring Ethical Virtues
Aside from acquiring knowledge, every individual should strive to acquire virtues and good traits from childhood because knowledge without morality is worthless. A scientist who is not virtuous and ethical cannot be entirely beneficial and worthy in life. Knowledge and ethics are interdependent. Attaining morals requires attention, perseverance, exercise, and continuance. Since the benefits of life attract the human-like magnet from this place to the other, if people neglect constant attention in acquiring ethical virtues and eliminating vices, they will not have any success. Many have found a tendency towards good deeds by the encouragement of teachers, benevolent people, and mentors. However, some later abandon them to follow their whims and temporary desires. Acquiring ethics should be the motto of humankind. We always need to listen to our mentors and prepare ourselves for advancement in this matter. One can achieve this according to the mental capacity destined for him.
