Religion and Science

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One An Advice for the Child
One of the rituals of religion is prayer and having full concentration towards God, not the kind of prayer that the person does not understand and realize what he is saying, and not one that is perfunctory and ephemeral and without concentration, and for cursory and pretense.

As mentioned elsewhere in this book, religion and science are not apart from each other. One cannot imagine these separately because religion means acceptance and belief of the inner faith, and religion is the science of the manner of living in the universe. Religion creates readiness in the path of theism and recognizing the blessings of God and having gratitude for all these blessings. These are identical to science that is accompanied by acceptance and faith. Science deprived of religion is worthless because it does not accompany the acceptance and consent of the heart and fails to pacify the spirit.

On the other hand, religion without science will not have any manifestation because all that is within a Godly religion is the primary science of life. As for the other sciences, even though they are connected to the religion one way or the other via a path, they are subsidiary and expert branches. Until the universal science (which is the origin of the divine truth, the forces, movements, and revolutions of this universe) does not manifest through the wisdom of religion, other sciences are relatively worthless. Whoever attempts to separate religion and science will not achieve an outcome, and religion without science is shameful, and science without religion is useless.
