Having Full Attention Is Necessary
One who does not know the meaning of unity and reads the lessons carelessly without developing and evaluating them in his mind will not realize the true meaning and the truth about those lessons. Therefore, they will not be fruitful for him.
However, if he correctly understands those words according to his mental capacity and God-given destiny and through exercise and proper mental training, and if he accepts the words with all his heart and mind, he will never agree to give them up at any cost. These individual values are given to him by the will of Almighty God. He has become interested in them and considers unity entwined with his soul and body. This notion has become clear to him through his faith, conviction, and sincerity that unity is the savior of the universe because the teachings of unity are fully conforming to the universal nature and human habits, instincts, and temperaments.
Furthermore, God has embedded a spiritual blueprint of unity in the existence of all human beings. Therefore, anyone who accepts unity with sufficient exactitude, the divine truths are sure to become apparent to him, with proper attention and exercise, according to his mental capacity and destiny. On the contrary, if one does not pay proper attention and follow it in a perfunctory manner, desired outcomes will not result. This concept is the true principle of learning, one that we need to remember.
