Peace and Serenity
Humans talk and gloat about peace and harmony, but never attain it. If they realize how advantageous it is for humanity, they will never break the peace anywhere. Human beings have sung the song of peace for centuries, but they are far from it in practice. Every time that humanity experienced peace for a while, they provided some excuses and instruments to dismantle it. The more they make progress in civilization, the more destructive the wars. There was a time that wars were between two champions of two lines of rivals, or two factions of warriors stood against each other in battle. Now the world is divided into two factions, and all people of one faction aim to take the lives of people in the other faction. Where people were getting killed in ones or tens, now people massacre thousands and hundreds of thousands. Where people used to show mercy to the elderly and women and children, now they throw bombs on hospitals and on the disabled who cannot run. Now, people kill thousands at once, and surprisingly they see it as an honor. When they succeed in wiping out cities with fire-throwing airplanes, they brag about it in their media, radios, and magazines with pride and notify everyone through loud-speakers. Is this the meaning of being human?
