Marriage in Islam

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One God and Creation The Flow of Procreation
A natural action cannot be barricaded. Men and women are created for one another, but their relationship needs to be regulated under orderly principles.

One provision in Islam’s progressive provision is that whenever a girl reaches the age of growth and desire, she is to be wedded to a man. Besides, the most honorable Prophet, Mohammad (Praise be upon him and his dynasty), has appointed the rule of Nikah Mut’ ah (temporary marriage).  Meaning men who do not have access to a woman due to financial problems, traveling, and the ailment of their wives can benefit according to orderly rules and principles. These provisions are established because young individuals have such excessive affection that nothing can stop them. Furthermore, if such orderly provisions are lacking, anarchy, chaos and discomfort emerge. Something that is not beneficial to the order of society.
