98- Conclusion
This notion was a discussion on the article by my honorable brother and the esteemed scientist, Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Taghi Vahedi.
In conclusion, I should say:
Dear readers, as the Persian proverb suggests, “The pitcher of water is nearby, and we are so thirsty wandering around” Come, for we have (by the will of God) pure and clean water for those who are thirsty for knowledge. Whoever is thirsty for knowledge may come and drink from this limpid water: come forth so you may find the truth; come forward, for the verity is here.
In the book: "Methods of Concealed Sciences," Dr. Pappus provides an example for the spirit, the perispirit, and the body. He describes the body as a carriage, the perispirit like a horse, and the spirit as a rider. When the body is awake, the carriage is in good shape, and the rider guides the perispirit and the body (in other words, the carriage functions appropriately). In death, the carriage is broken, and the rider rides away with the horse. In sleep, the carriage's door opens, and the rider (spirit) rides the horse (the perispirit) through the universe.
According to the New Philosophy, the readers realize that the theory of Dr. Pappus on sleep is wrong. If both the spirit and the perispirit move far away during sleep, what will happen to the body? What force will keep all the living organs alive and functioning?
This theory is wrong. During sleep, the spirit is separated, but the perispirit maintains the body's vital functions and keeps the human alive. Nevertheless, the perispirit maintains constant and untethered communication, like a telegraph, with the spirit.
