Agreement of Mind
If a person contemplates and plans a devious act against another, and others who hear about this plan agree with this person, they are all responsible according to God. The cooperation and agreement of the mind in carrying out misdeeds is so negatively significant that, as mandated by the rule of unity, the individual who agrees with the plan will be as responsible as the person committing it before divine verity. This notion is simply because his acceptance might make the perpetrators determined to carry out their devious plan. It may act as the foundation to resolve any doubts they may have had. They may not have been determined and steadfast in their decision yet and may still have had doubts in carrying out their plan. However, one’s agreement may resolve their doubts and lead them to carry on with their actions. What is evident is that the cause of this agreement will have a conscious and Godly responsibility, and the earthly rules should hold him responsible as well.
