10- Keeping a Dead Person Alive

If science and knowledge advance to such a level that they could repair a dying body so that it will function, the spirit will remain working. Today we see doctors capable of prolonging a dying person's life for minutes by using injections and or chemicals.
However, in comparison with the divine philosophy of The New Universal Unity, such notions are insignificant. These issues are solved and clear in The New Universal Unity, and there is no ambiguity in it1.
Footnotes
- This book was first published in 1954, while the world’s first heart transplant (during which the patient regained consciousness) was performed in South Africa in 1967 by Dr. Christiaan Barnard. We are glad that we have reported the chance of keeping a dead man alive 13 years before its first instance. In the future, we hope that advancements in science emerge more progresses of such (Third edition, 1969).
