For eons (1500 years), the Geocentric Model of Ptolemy has been the dominant theorem, and ordinary people did not have the slightest doubt of that. They even adapted their religious beliefs according to this model and considered it incontrovertible, divine and the truth of the universe. If anyone defied this model, they would break his jaw for this heresy. So many people were killed and annihilated for such objections. The likes of Galileo have been put on trial and held in contempt. The Jewish community condemned Spinoza and attempted to murder him. Descartes was accused of heresy by the elders of the Christian religion. Voltaire was imprisoned and exiled many times, even though he only criticized the superstitions of the priests. Immanuel Kant was under intense harassment and annoyance, even though he was steadfast on purifying the religion of Jesus Christ (Praise be upon him) from superstitions. They cut out the tongue of Italian philosopher Lucilio Vanini and burned him alive. They burned down the epistle of Pierre De La Ramee for contradicting Aristotle. The French Philosopher Etienne Dolet and the Italian Philosophers Giordano Bruno, two pioneers of philosophy, were burned alive. Campanella was innocently a prisoner for years. Their sins were nothing but declaring new philosophical beliefs.
