An Historic Event
An example from Islamic history clarifies the truth to this issue: According to the narrative, the third Caliph of Muslims, Uthman ibn Affan, was weak-minded and delivered government positions to his relatives. He also had driven the affairs of Muslims to a decline. His actions were so egregious that it could have caused his removal and the rise of people against him. Furthermore, the divine mastermind and the great man of God, the prince of all faithful, Imam Ali, could have ordered his demise by the hands of his faithful and Godly men. However, his Excellency had no such ignorant thoughts and never poisoned his mind with such toxic thoughts because he was aware that assassination is cowardice, treacherous, and inferior. Plus, this act would spread throughout the empire of Islam and would destabilize the foundations of Islamic society. Whenever people put forth this idea, he would oppose strongly and become indignant, and not only did he not approve of assassinating him, but he also aided him in practice for the glory and greatness of Islam. Despite being held at home, whenever the public interest and benefits of community and the characteristics of Islam was involved, he never withheld assistance to the Caliph.
