Indeed, the terms “something” and “nothing” are like positive and negative and other dual entities, flowing in all objects and affairs of the universe. Night and day, darkness and light are other instances of these dual entities that all people say, see and accept. Such distinction is inevitable, for darkness is nothing but a shadow and the deficiency of light. Absolute darkness does not exist. When the Earth rotates with its back to the sun, relative shadows and darkness are created that demonstrate a paler color (or a shadow) of the same light. Inevitably, it is called the opposite of light.
