Universal God

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One The New Light or The Superior Light of Lights A Mistake Regarding the Essence of God
In the picture is the embodiment of God as an older man sitting on a heavenly throne. This notion is the representation that Christians and many other religions have of God.

God is a constant force within and with the universe. The universe belongs to him, and he is not finite1. Many religious leaders, during their time, have attempted to explain the true essence of God. The entire universe belongs to God and is related to God. This God is not separate from the universe. God is the source of all forces in the universe. God is the source of all creation in the universe. This force and power are to be accepted, even by atheists.

Footnotes

  1. In the sacred book of Nahj-al-Balagha says: “He has always been and will always be. He is infinite and does not have an ending. Time does not explain God; one cannot say when he has been or when he will end. He can be seen, but one cannot say how he came to appearance. He is invisible, but one cannot say where he is hidden. His closeness to the material is not like he is of the matter.”
