The Path of Connection
Unfocused, sparse, and diverging paths will not converge into a goal, and the path of unity is the only trajectory to reach your destination. “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah” (Ali ‘Imran, Verse 103). The whole universe is united. All creatures are connected; therefore, destinations and paths of all are to return to the divine source. “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him, we will return.” (Al-Baqarah, Verse 156). So why be worried when all paths will end the same?
However, the routes differ. One is easy, short, straightforward, smooth, blooming, neat, and right, and another is lengthy, twisting, difficult, bumpy, and painful. Which is better?
