Examining A Good Deed
Every single human being has already done good deeds in his life, and he has experienced the joy of doing so. Whenever we anonymously provide the means for the merriment of a destitute family in a cold night, and when we establish the light of happiness and the laughter of merriment in their cold and gloomy house, we will comprehend a divine enjoyment. The reason for this merriment is Unity, for all human beings are connected and joined, and there is a spiritual and corporeal bond between them. Every merriment that a person establishes in others will return to him; it is like induced electricity. This notion is also apparent in everyday affairs, as we have seen that a merry and smiling person can create merriment in a group. On the contrary, a disheartened and distressed person scatters waves of sorrow all around him.
