Following the Science

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One Ethical Education from the Prophets
Having experience and practice in science guides humanity to tremendous victories. The first person who landed on the Moon with the Apollo moon mission was successful in manifesting this victory through the results of billions of experiences.

There is another truth that we need to consider: we should never avoid the following science and acquiring wisdom. It is also evident that wisdom is attainable from those who own it; we should learn science from scientists, and knowledge from scholars. What should we do with this double-sided ethical conundrum? Following the scientists to gain knowledge, at the same time not flattering them. The trade-off is having wisdom, experience, and human perception. In other words, we should not follow others blindly and thoughtlessly; we should have a mental evaluation beforehand and never follow a path without mental consent.

This notion is the meaning of the Holy Verse of the Holy Quran that says: “And do not pursue that of which you do not know. Indeed, the hearing, the sight, and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.” (Al-Isra, Verse 36).
