The State of Seed and Their Quantity
The number of sperm is high: they pour out in millions during the ejaculation process. This notion is because initially, a large quantity enters the uterus from the male. They then either consume each other or die off until maybe one or two or a few penetrate the egg until they develop into an embryo or embryos. As a result, a child or twins or more are born (some animals typically give birth to multiple babies).
