A Prayer from The Unity Slogan
O, mighty God of wisdom and authority, and O mighty power that unites the universe, I realize and see no power in the abyss of the universe of living but you. Have a glimpse at the plea of this seeker of God and pay attention to me. I ask for help and assistance and see no other way to enlightenment but you. I seek no riches, no earthly possessions, no earthly position, nor material or carnal gain. I yearn to devote my attention to you, and I seek unity in this world.
You know all too well of the turmoil in this vast being. You also know all too well of the worldly race for materialistic gain; you know all too well of the many individuals who prowl and run towards money and material and position and neglect no endeavor to carry out this quest. They have committed to and surrendered to such inanities, so much so that they have become heedless of you.
Such people are so drowned in earthly possessions that they have forgotten the sacred principles of honor and a clear conscience and have diverted from the correct path to you. They have sacrificed all principles of humanity for false thoughts and selfishness and favoritism, to gain superiority and position.
O, Almighty God, you are all too aware that such grave sorrow has sickened this world. Of course, many pure and virtuous individuals are not materialistic and endeavor in spiritualism — they have refrained from impurities and sins.
O, mighty God, it is my yearning that you place knowledge and wisdom in the hearts of all creatures, and guide everyone towards the path of salvation and the felicity of unity. Your power does not have any limitations and extents. It is of your supreme authority that the whole majestic universe and all its galaxies, with all existence in it, are disciplined and serenaded. Your power is absolute and immense, and you are mighty in all tasks. I yearn from you to put the love for peace and serenity, for kindness and loyalty, in all your creatures, and light the love in hearts that are closer to your path, and provide those that are not, with this divine bliss.
Almighty God, now that you have enriched all hearts, I yearn from you to increase their wisdom more than ever, so that they would cherish and accept the immense task of serving all the universe, and never see it as an amusement or a temporary matter. Instead, I hope they would use their given wisdom and understanding to comprehend verity. Once they realized its vastness and essentiality for our world, they join it with dexterity and endeavor to provide this blessing for not only their hearts but all hearts. Alas, the time has come, and sickness is advancing at such a rate that it leaves no room for hesitation and delinquency. How good it would be if those enlightened hastened in advancing the divine order.
O, Almighty God, let our youth climb the ladder of success towards verity, for they are the practitioners of tomorrow. The youth is who will administer the future. So see that they get accustomed to the principles of morality, peace, serenity, and kindness, and guide them towards the right path in life. Do so that their mind and wisdom and their deeds would be elevated to match their surroundings. Do so that their knowledge and mind and intellectual progress would be in accordance with their time.
O, Almighty God, manifest the beauty of this right path before their eyes with your kindness and affection. For they should realize that when measured with wisdom and intellect, such verities benefit all beings. Then, they would put aside selfishness and arrogance, move towards this path with delight and desire, and yearn it with their hearts. Then become prepared to obtain these principles of guidance through carrying out the stipulated practices. Once they familiarize themselves with such principles, all beings will benefit from their existence.
Almighty God, you are aware and know there are no intentions to my words. All I ever have in my mind, thoughts, and imaginations is you and yearn nothing but guidance and prosperity of all beings. Have mercy so that wars and quarrels perish, and your divine will and unity establish on earth; all religions are under a united theist umbrella in peace and harmony, and humankind can stand together as brothers and sisters.
On the day that the truth of unity is manifested before their eyes, by your grace, they will become informed of the great secrets to rectify and improve the world. Then, the significant directions that are your intentions will be carried out, and those benefactors and diviners who are the pillars of the future society of humankind are going to be integral to foundations for a virtuous society.
O, mighty powerful God, there are ups and downs in all paths. Seekers who walk in this path will inevitably cross obstacles. It is of your grace to strengthen the hearts of your followers, so much so, that they will not get hopeless or disappointed when falling into lows, nor will they become selfish and arrogant when ascending into highs. May they possess enough power and endurance and consistency to traverse this path. Provide your constant aid and assistance towards them to secure their strength when facing unpleasant behaviors, objections, and discouragements. Help them so that they do not become proud and selfish of their victories and triumphs and not to fall asleep due to negligence and stop serving midway. So, by your constant and perpetual grace, and rays of your assistance and support, all humankind would become worthy, deserving, and capable of reaching and connecting to you. When you put such capabilities in their essence, they will swiftly move towards this path with delight and exuberant yearning.
O, Almighty God, send rays of your compassion towards these people. Make them follow your illustrious, virtuous, right, and divine commands of religion. By persistence in ethical beneficence affairs, they will transform so much that they will become enlightened, and by purifying their hearts, they can comprehend the divine light of the verity and secrets of God.
O, Almighty God, give us your blessing so that believers of all religions become a united people and show compassion towards one another. Allow them to be so close to each other that they become aware of the ways and benefits of unity. Make them aware to see each other as one united people, even to see all creatures and phenomena in existence, as one and united. Then, when they comprehend this innate and natural union, they will walk on the path of kindness and compassion, becoming sympathetic towards one another. It is this path in which all creatures in the universe will enjoy your rays of grace, just like they all enjoy the sunlight, which is also another ray of your grace.
O, Perfect Omnipotent, O, one that no mind can fathom you, or imagine a deficiency in you. I am your insignificant servant and am determined to promote and cultivate your divine affairs in the world. If you bless me with your affection, kindness, and send one tiny ray of your enormous rays of love and attention in this direction, the reforming and salvation of humankind will be easy.
O, Almighty God, love is spread throughout the universe and in all your creatures. All these loves, whatever the angle we look at, is the affection they have for unity and your one united existence, whether they like it or not. Love of a nightingale, love of a human, and all other love, be it real or figurative, be it different forms and colors, they are all one united love in essence. The individual who joins the unity is, in fact, a mystic and wise person that has found, evaluated, and realized this subconscious love within. We hope that all your creatures love this vivid verity and discover the truth about their life’s love so that they would move ever more towards unity with enthusiasm.
O, Almighty God, I ask of you to enlighten and manifest these verities swiftly like an illuminating shooting star for all the creatures and to assist this humble servant for his role in spreading the will of God.
