Limitations of The Mentor’s Action
Can mentors and teachers of ethics, whose responsibilities are merely pointing others toward the right direction, penetrate the soul of others and find their flaws, much as a mechanic finds flaws in a vehicle?
If the science of psychoanalysis — which developed in the 20th Century — is capable of somehow becoming aware of the psychological flaws of a person, it is because of cooperation and the information that the person provides to the psychoanalyst. This notion is because no intuitive psychologist can find moral and physical flaws in another without his cooperation, except for individuals who, to a degree, have found the path towards the divine truth through proper spiritual exercises.
