An Advice for the Child
A man pointed out to his child:
Science is today’s trend my child
You must be happy and wise
Pay attention to your teacher with open ears and eyes
He will teach you the gems of science and knowledge
His brilliant words are from the sources of his knowledge
If you have access to knowledge
Learn it well, so you will not be your own hostage
Learn knowledge with eagerness and fondness
So that your progress in life is flawless
In order to learn you must be talkative and inquisitive
Ask your teachers many questions, be positive
In order to learn knowledge, one should not be bashful
Or he will fall behind, for this reason he should be watchful
Men without knowledge are useless
They are unfortunate, ignorant, and fruitless
You must learn science and knowledge with perfection
Make great effort in this endeavor with patience and affection
Whoever has learned art and science will be glorified
He will be dear to mankind and have a bright fortune with pride
Try to have a positive and virtuous attitude every time
Listen to my advice with your intellect in the meantime
Let go of miserly and envious attitudes
To achieve quality traits and fortitude
Be respectful in this righteous path of God
Follow the path of the righteous men of God
Come join the religion and customs of Vahdat
For the best way to illuminate your soul is Vahdat
It is imperative to join a divine religion
One must not sit idle without faith and religion
Prayer will purify your soul and body
It will end long sufferings for everybody
Science and religion are one and entwined
Separating them will make you blind
Have pure manners and be well spoke
For bad words will shame you and must remain unspoken
Always be honest and truthful
Be virtuous, good hearted, and peaceful
Listen and comply to this Godly advice
For religion will purify your mannerisms, which is the best device
Unity is naturally everything and everywhere
That is why it is destined to be everywhere, with flair
Since you listen to Heshmat’s advice eagerly
You will gain confidence and become prosperous easily
