119- When is It?
You may say a thousand years ago, or ten thousand years ago, or one million, or a hundred million years ago. Keep counting to the highest numbers until you run out of numbers, and then invent some more numbers until reaching a level where you feel powerless. When your numbers are finished, and there would be no more numbers to count, and when the number of years you considered came to an end, and when you finally could not continue counting, do tell me, what was before that? If you say that time existed before that, then we rest our case. However, if you say, "I do not know," you confess your inability and failure and have confirmed that you do not know when the beginning of time was. If you state that your lack of knowledge does not mean that there is no answer, I will ask you to show me who knows? They should step up and answer.
I say, now that you have not been able to state its beginning, you should accept that there is no beginning.
When you count the number "2", my dear must be a "1" before it. When there is no "1", then you cannot (by any means) say "2," let alone consider an end for it. Now that we have proved that there is no beginning, then it can be proven in a similar fashion that there will also be no end simply because a thing with no beginning has no end.
Now you see that the universe has no beginning and no end. It has always existed and will always exist. No "time" can be perceived for it. It is not that we cannot find a definite "time," but in fact, we cannot even assume a "time".
