The Second Category

The Flowers Of Guidance Volume One Nine Instructive Steps to Gaining Knowledge Step 6: Religion and Knowledge

What we have noted so far includes solely those who are illiterate and those who are substantially distant from any knowledge. The second category is scientists, that even though they possess knowledge and information, do not spend any time comprehending the verities of religion, and do not concentrate on religious affairs and principles. Their focus is solely on other branches of science. Since they spend their entire power and concentration on those subjects, they become distant from contemplation and examination on the verities of religion. They do not have proper knowledge of such verities, cannot comprehend its depth, and cannot notice them. They focus their intellect on a single section of science and knowledge. Their affairs are ultimately for the good of society and humankind; any fair person should appreciate their services and endeavors. They succeed in innovations and inventions due to their intellect, making all human beings in debt of their services. If only they would contemplate a little on religion and regard the conscience, it would be valuable and would provide more benefits to humanity.
