A Progressive Victory

Some people want to start a grand task and to be successful in it without putting in sufficient work or taking proper steps. They think the necessity for a huge success is to launch a grand venture or project from the beginning. Unaware that the first condition for prosperity is taking small steps, they dive into an unknown sea with no prior knowledge and draw no result but drowning. (Of course, we should consider that prosperity in any affair, regardless of size, is according to one’s fate and destiny, or else it will not succeed.)
There are individuals, who when they see the prosperity of others, attempt to model their work with the same scale and with a similar pattern. They do this without considering their talents or capabilities and without realizing that other’s success had followed the general principle of gradual growth. They are unaware that their calculations are wrong, and their attempt will fail. Therefore, only those who start from minor projects and prosper in those affairs will succeed in grand affairs.
