Responsibility of Planets and Stars
All these enormous beings called “planets” or “stars” have a responsibility in this regard. For example, the Sun has a portion of this responsibility, and if it fails to shine for even a moment, all beings will diminish. “Say, have you considered: if Allah should make for you the night continuous until the day of resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you light?” (Al-Qasas, Verse 71).
