Barricades Before Thoughts
As we have seen in history, during the medieval ages, priests and clergies of various religions blocked the development of science in the name of religion and customs and prevented the progressive thinking of Galileo and others. They even burned philosophers like Giordano Bruno and imprisoned Tommaso Campanella for 27 years. Citizens of Athens forced Socrates to drink a cup of poison over 2000 years ago.
However, we saw that none of these actions were ineffective, these bright thoughts passed through all those barricades, and today those scientists are eternal.
